Everyday is a fashion show, and the world your runway
The holidays are a stressful time of the year – for everyone (unless your like 5). I thought I’d pop in here and upload a picture of my outfit I wore while out shopping and fighting the usual holiday crowds.

I felt like being colorful! I didn’t realize it until later, but I was wearing my alma mater’s colors! Even my subconscious bleeds crimson and blue.

Oh how I love Midwest weather. This week the highs were near the 40s(tomorrow is supposed to near 70) so I got to bust out my long sleeved outfits and sweaters. This studded one is my absolute favorite!

Fall looks are starting to emerge. What’s at the top of everyone’s list? LEATHER! Leather pants to be specific. It’s the must-have item this fall. Neiman Marcus’ list, to name one, has it with their top 10 fall trends of 2012. The other nine I will get to in the next week.
With the scorching weather this summer its hard to think about wearing leather pants without breaking into a sweat and wanting to adjust the air conditioner a few degrees.
Or, if you’re like me, the first image that pops into your head when you think of leather pants is an episode of Friends when Ross is stuck in his date’s bathroom struggling to get a pair of leather pants back on after sweating up a storm.
Anyway, I think I may try this style this season. I’ve honestly never had a pair of leather pants but I love the look. It looks fantastic with a white sheer blouse, or a nice print top. Maybe even a denim vest over a long sleeve t-shirt.. A nice black pair of leather or faux-leather pants can be very, very versatile.

There’s blue everywhere!
It kind of makes you feel like there’s going to be an end to this ridiculously hot, dry summer as this shade of blue is a Fall/Autumn color.
I opened a magazine recently and I swear every page was all about the blue! Kind of like a cobalt color is what should be in your shopping bag right now. So, I figured I would dedicate a post to the color, just in case you felt a bit blue…

So, I’ve noticed a lot of fashion bloggers post their outfits daily… well, I probably won’t do it that much, but I will try to post outfits here and there. So here we go: I took pictures of a few of my outfits this week to start out with. Turns out I wear a lot of the same colors. And, the weather changed on me. It’s been pretty chilly the last few days (around 50/60 for a high) so I busted out the jeans and boots. :) (Last week I was wearing skirts and dresses.) These aren’t the most exciting or fashion-forward outfits but whatevs, I like my boots and I want to get a few more wears in before the 90 degree temperatures comes back.
