Those damn boots…

Here’s the background on this post… I have a lovely pair of camel colored riding boots that I love and bought last year for the winter season. I still love them. However, I bought them for $10 at Charlotte Russe. By now, it being about a year later… they have no traction left. At all. For $10 I’m not complaining, I’m just saying I’m in desperate need of a new pair of camel colored riding boots. So I’ve been looking, and looking, and looking some more. Mainly because I’m not ready to give up these that I have broken in and have outfits made for. But its that time, I’ve falling on flat surfaces and slid on anything resembling a smooth surface because of the traction-less soles.

Here are my contenders for replacements:

These are from Francesca’s website. They are $99 and pretty close to what I have now.  Genuine Leather too.

Vivacious Red Denim…

If you haven’t seen it yet, you will. The red denim is creeping into our closets and I’ve gotta admit. I love it. I’ve never been one for different colored denim besides my different washes, the light, medium, and dark, but I love the red. This fall I may branch out a bit and even go for the plum and bright blues that are also coming into play. The red, though, is going to be a good buy this season. It’s already been in a style magazine so it’s on its way. Even though Joe’s Jeans is known for its “55 colors” jeans, I went with J Brand and can’t be more pleased with my purchase. They were around $180, so if you can’t afford that, Express has some red jeggings this year for a lesser price. So the red jeans… are you up for it? What’s the best outfit you can make with the daring splash of color during this season of grays?

A Fresh Beginning

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So this is my blog. I love fashion. That’s what this blog will be about. Not necessarily just me expressing my love for it, but more along the lines of me sharing what I found in the world that is fashionable. I’m like most females who love fashion and love shopping, but, my job requires me to go out and research new brands and get an idea of what’s in or what designers seem to be gravitating towards each season. In other words, I now have a shopping problem. I blame my job and this will just give me another reason to shop. Hopefully my bank account doesn’t mind.
