Fall looks are starting to emerge. What’s at the top of everyone’s list? LEATHER! Leather pants to be specific. It’s the must-have item this fall. Neiman Marcus’ list, to name one, has it with their top 10 fall trends of 2012. The other nine I will get to in the next week.
With the scorching weather this summer its hard to think about wearing leather pants without breaking into a sweat and wanting to adjust the air conditioner a few degrees.
Or, if you’re like me, the first image that pops into your head when you think of leather pants is an episode of Friends when Ross is stuck in his date’s bathroom struggling to get a pair of leather pants back on after sweating up a storm.
Anyway, I think I may try this style this season. I’ve honestly never had a pair of leather pants but I love the look. It looks fantastic with a white sheer blouse, or a nice print top. Maybe even a denim vest over a long sleeve t-shirt.. A nice black pair of leather or faux-leather pants can be very, very versatile.

Here are some options to add to your fall wardrobe:

I’ve got to admit. I really hate being short.
I love this skirt, but it just doesn’t look the same as if I were to have just a few more inches of height!
Still love it. Still bought it. :)

I kind of blame Kate Middleton for the lace craze.. she apparently loves lace. Google “Kate Middleton Lace” and you will see what I mean. She wears it out and about and then, her wedding dress blew it all away. Her gorgeous Alexander McQueen designed by Sarah Burton made lace an “in” thing again.
Lace has gone above and beyond just tops and dresses this season. Shorts and pants now can be lacy. And yes, all these items are acceptable for wearing outside, they aren’t just for pajamas or lingerie anymore. Since there are so many different types of lacy things this year, I’ve split the lace amongst a few posts.
Today you’ll find lace making up shorts or simply embellishing the fabric. Some look like beach cover-ups, some like lingerie, and others hippie-chic. Because of the variety of styles, I’m sharing my lacy finds. Most importantly, I’ve found a variety of brands so the price points are all over the place. You’ll be able to find a pair that suits your bank account.
I’m excited for summer weather to try out these cute and feminine shorts. I can’t wait to style them and dress them up to wear around!
